GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Friday, September 14, 2012) – Samuel A. Valeriano’s Jess Lips, trained by Eddie Willis and ridden by Jimmy Brooks, was the fastest qualifier for the Grade 2, $174,000 Dash for Cash Derby over a fast track Friday night at Lone Star Park. The colt, by Mr Jess Perry dashed 440 yards in 21.215 earning a speed index of 99.
The Dash for Cash Derby will be run Saturday, September 29.
