Trainer Russell Harris had the fastest qualifier for the Grade 1 Dash for Cash Futurity in 2012 with Prince Valleyant who went on to win the Futurity only to be disqualified and placed sixth. His career earnings so far are $147,853. Separatist Firstdown is trained by Isidro Flores and will be ridden by Eddi Martinez.
The field from the rail out, with jockey and morning line odds listed in parentheses, consists of: Mr Runaway (David A. Alvarez, 10-1); Dont Text That (Jerry Lee Yoakum, 10-1); Rey Tiburon Rr (Edgar Martinez, 15-1); Separatist Firstdown (Eddi Emanuel Martinez, 7-2); J Bar (Juan Francisco Garcia, Jr., 5-1); Her O Don Won (Larry D.
