GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Wednesday, February 20, 2019) – The Lone Star Park Racing Club is currently taking memberships for the 2019 Thoroughbred Season which opens Thursday, April 18 and runs through Sunday, July 21. Members will share in the ownership of a racehorse that will compete here during the meet.
The club is open for anyone who’s ever been interested in racehorse ownership for a minimal investment of $500. Up to 150 shares will be sold, so get yours now. Memberships can be purchased online at https://www.lonestarpark.com/lsp-racingclub/
By joining the Lone Star Park Racing Club you will learn everything involved in owning a racehorse. If you’ve ever dreamt of owning a share of a Thoroughbred racehorse or what it would be like to feel the thrill as your horse is thundering down the stretch in a duel for the lead, this could be that experience and much more!
The perks of membership are many, including free admission for club members and one guest for the entire season, one season-long Horsemen’s parking pass, additional guest admission passes for friends & family on the club horse’s race day, escorted barn tours to visit your horse and talk to the trainer, access to watch your horse workout on select days during morning training hours, updates via email on the horse’s progress, access to the saddling paddock on race day to see your horse prepare for its race, access to the winner’s circle for the photo if your horse wins, invitations to special club events and best of all the experience of owning a Thoroughbred racehorse!
The 2018 Inaugural Racing Club enjoyed much success. The club owned three horses during the season, all winners! One of the clubs horses, Fred’s Lucky Boy was voted 2018 Champion Claiming Horse by the Texas Thoroughbred Association!

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Texas Partners LSP and Global Gaming LSP. The track offers a 44-day 2019 Thoroughbred Season, which opens Thursday, April 18 and concludes on Sunday, July 21. Live racing will be held select Thursdays and select Fridays at 6:35 p.m. Saturday and Sunday race programs start at 2:35 p.m. (except Triple Crown Days; May 4, May 18 & June 8 which have a 1:35 p.m. start). A special twilight program will be held at 5:00 p.m. both on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 (Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration). Lone Star Park is also home to the multi-million dollar simulcast racebook, sports bar and event venue, Bar & Book. The 36,000 square foot venue is open to the public 363 days a year.
